Service Contracts are available for MOST lasers at considerably lower prices than most manufacturers. Service Contracts are available for one year increments per contract.
REPAIR
MD Laser Solutions dispatches Field Service Engineers nation-wide for on-site repair of laser equipment. We also inventory most parts for your laser. With regional support available, our parts distribution team can have repair parts at your office location the next day, (in most instances), enabling our Field Service Engineers to repair your laser without delay. Our staff of Field Service Engineers have many years of experience and will explain to your satisfaction any and all failures and operational problems encountered with your system.
Emergency service calls are another very expensive aspect of owning any operating medical laser systems. Many times the laser is operating perfectly one minute only to be “dead” the next without warning. What happened? Although many medical laser manufacturers would have you believe that the competition fails “all the time” while their model will last forever, the truth is that all medical laser systems will fail at some point in their life. This is to be expected. With proper maintenance and planning, you can keep your costs to a minimum.
PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
By scheduling periodic maintenance throughout the year our Field Service Engineers can ensure that your investment in your medical laser will last a long time. Preventative Maintenance (PM) service is NOT a service to be avoided by the laser owner/operator. Rather, PMs can save money and time. Many problems with laser operation can be corrected before they become too costly.
EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION
Laser equipment must be properly installed to meet your expectations of trouble free use. Installation includes proper power facilitation once in your office. As power requirements for laser manufacturers and models differ, installation must meet the manufacturers specification and that of your facilitys AC power network. In addition to AC power requirements, following transport, laser equipment must be properly aligned. The procedures followed must be consistent with the manufacturer's requirements. Failing to perform the tasks properly can limit performance or it can lead to troublesome operation.
Laser systems are typically unpacked and installed for the first time by our Certified Field Service Engineer. The installation requirements are designed to provide you with the appropriate information to prepare their facility for arrival and subsequent installation of the new laser system. For any given laser system this may include some of all of the following:
* Facility requirements including power and cooling water.
* Suggested relative setup orientations for major laser system components.
* Specifications for external interlock circuits.
* Specifications for external computer control.
LASER TRAINING
We provide training on the equipment that we sell and install to avoid costly repair in the future.
